Hey Everybody!
I'd like to break down my review into multiple parts:
1. Packaging: The product was beautifully packed and placed in sturdy cardboard packaging and totally gave the product a very luxurious feel! I really enjoyed the packaging and I was very happy that the product presentation was nicely done.
2. The handle: The brushes are sturdy and made of wood and its given a glossy black finish. The brand name 'Wiseshe' is printed on one side and the application of the brush is written on the other side which makes it really easy for beginners to identify which brush to use. The handle is quite long which helps to vary the control while using the brush and has some weight to it which helps in balancing the brush when you it for product application.
Both the brushes length (measured from the bottom to the top of the ferrule) is 16 cm.
3. The ferrule: The material used is aluminium which makes the brush lighter and also it doesn't get rusted which is extremely important to consider when you buy a brush. Also, the ferrule is properly pressed to hold the strands without any gaps which would prevent your brushes from shedding.
4. The bristles: The bristles are made with natural hair and it works absolutely great on powder and powder-to-cream products. It was a dream using it.
The PRO Smudge brush is super soft for using it in my lower lash-line and it is densely packed and stiff for smudging and slight blending. Also, its a great brush for detailed packing of eye shadow and it picks up a good amount of product. The brush hair measurements of the PRO Smudge brush are 10mm(width), 6mm(height) and 3mm thickness. The brush isn't too big compared to a lot of my other smudging brushes which makes it really unique and helps for detailed work. Overall, i love this brush a lot!!!
The second brush in the set is the PRO Shadow brush which is almost a dupe to MAC 217 brush. This brush is also really soft and it would be perfect for those of you who want a single brush for packing on one shade on the lid and also to slightly blend it into the crease. The brush is more dense towards the ferrule and it diffuses to the end which makes it perfect for packing and blending eyeshadow. As a bonus, it works well for precise nose contouring! I mostly use this brush to blend my crease while doing a cut-crease look as it blends without blowing the product everywhere. There is a good amount of flexibility to the brush which makes it good for application as well as blending! The measurements of this brush are 13mm (width), 15mm(height) and 8mm (thickness). As you can see, the thickness is 8mm which makes it quite good for precise blending!
5. Softness: The bristles are super duper soft and this is one of the most softest brushes I've tried ( trust me, I've tried a lot of brushes). I really loving these for my eyeshadow application and it would be good for beginners and as well as makeup junkies!
6. Eyeshadow application: It did not leave any patchiness and packs the product quite opaque!
7. Shedding: I've had these brushes for almost 2 months and I've washed them twice. I had about a strand or two coming off which is completely normal for natural hair brushes.
8. Pricing: Its a little more than any regular brush. But the quality of the brush is quite good and its reasonable of the quality of the product.
Overall, I'm extremely impressed with the product and its an Indian brand. Try out their entire brush set if you want to invest in good quality brushes. It will last you a long time!
